This project was a big one: a Lovesac Sactional for a basement family room, set up as an L-shaped sectional with two ottomans and a power-reclining seat. Here is how it came together, plus two things every Lovesac owner should know before delivery day.
The finished Sactional
The layout was planned to fill a 128-inch wall facing the TV, with the ottomans in front so they can be pulled up as footrests or extra seating. Every seat, side and back is connected, squared up and locked together, and every cover is zipped and smoothed so the sectional looks the way it did in the showroom.
The power recliner
One of the seats is a power recliner: press the button and the footrest glides out. Power seats are assembled like the other seats, but they need a place to plug in, so it helps to plan your layout with the recliner near an outlet.
Insert Protectors: the extra layer under the covers
This order also came with Lovesac Insert Protectors. They are an additional layer that goes over each seat insert and back pillow insert before the main fabric cover goes on.
Good to know: Insert Protectors mean one more cover to fit on every cushion, so they add time to the job. If your order includes them, mention it when you request your estimate so we can plan for it.
From a room full of boxes to a finished room
A Sactional this size arrives as a room full of boxes: seats, sides, cushion inserts, covers and hardware. Everything is unpacked, sorted and matched to the layout before assembly starts, and the boxes and packaging are cleared away at the end.
